Commercial Description:
AutumnFest is Weyerbachers own unique twist on the German Oktoberfest style. Copper-amber in color, AutumnFest is made with Vienna and Munich malts for that authentic, Bavarian easy drinking taste. Each sip imparts a wonderful roastiness of malt on the tongue followed by a smooth, consistent finish. Wonderfully balanced with a clean, velvety, slightly fruity taste, AutumnFest is the perfect beer for the Fall- a nice transition between the lighter beers of summer and the darker, heavier winter brews. It is a favorite of many Weyerbacher aficionados, who anticipate the end of summer with this wonderful beer. Weyerbacher AutumnFest (ABV 5.4%) is generally available in stores August through December. Pick up a case to celebrate the change of seasons. Prost!

Poured to a hazy reddish brown with nice off white head that lingers well and leaves good lacing. Nose and mouth were both faint, but what was present was a nice blend of malty dark fruit, with a hint of toffee and caramel. Smooth mouthfeel and a pleasant finish. While nothing strong stuck out, this was an enjoyable beer.

Malty slightly sweet aroma, traditional... Touch sweet in the flavor, a bit sticky... Good malty flavor, decent offering from Weyerbacher... Medium body, medium amber, hazy...

12 oz bottle. Clear amber/brown with a small tan head. Big aroma of bread and rich grains with a light German hop scent. Very full flavored with sweet bready malt that is balanced perfectly with the hop bitterness. Medium body, actively carbonated and a smooth finish. This is one of the best American Marzen’s I’ve had, very good.

From a bottle poured light brown with a fair amount of head. Light spicy flavor with a quick finish.

Pours a reddish copper color with a minimal head. smells of dirt leaves and nuts with a backbone of caramel. Taste is the liquid equivalent of ground up dead leaves with caramel drizzled on them. As far as Oktoberfests go this one is a winner for me. I generally dont care for them, but this is pretty damn good.

sweet sugary molasses aroma with bubble gum and taffy. Clear caramel. Fresh pulled taffy sweetness, little burnt caramel in the finish. Somewhat creamy, very approachable and tasty.

dark golden color, a modest head from the bottle. Nice Malt with just a hint of butter and a faint harsh note but not as bad as Penn. Not quite as much malt taste as others
