Commercial Description:
AutumnFest is Weyerbachers own unique twist on the German Oktoberfest style. Copper-amber in color, AutumnFest is made with Vienna and Munich malts for that authentic, Bavarian easy drinking taste. Each sip imparts a wonderful roastiness of malt on the tongue followed by a smooth, consistent finish. Wonderfully balanced with a clean, velvety, slightly fruity taste, AutumnFest is the perfect beer for the Fall- a nice transition between the lighter beers of summer and the darker, heavier winter brews. It is a favorite of many Weyerbacher aficionados, who anticipate the end of summer with this wonderful beer. Weyerbacher AutumnFest (ABV 5.4%) is generally available in stores August through December. Pick up a case to celebrate the change of seasons. Prost!

On tap the Northside. Pours a clear amber with a small white head that laced. Aroma is earthy with some metallic. Flavor is metallic, malts, almost tastes like Yuengling Lager.

Appears a glowing copper orange with a small off white head. Little bit of lacing is left behind. Smell is kind of funky with a strange malt that seems to have a mix of caramel and some spices, such as cinnamon that make this a bit of an off shoot of a festbier. No deep malty richness with a sweet and mildly sour dough taste. None of that going on. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and crisp with nothing really clinging inside the mouth. Some spices but it gets washed out quickly. Drinkability is ok. Nothing special. Perhaps my least favorite brew from Weyerbacher.

Out of a bottle. Aroma a malty, doughy basement odor. Poured a amber color with a nice head. Flavor was reflective of its odor, malts and slight yeast with some grassy hops notes. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Overall true to style.

copper/amber body with a cream colored, fast fading head giving off a malty aroma laced with cinnamon and spices, and just a touch of yeast. flavor is a mixture of grassy hops, caramel malts, yeast and cinnamon, maybe a hint of orange and some nuttiness as well. a very smooth texture and soft mouthfeel, with a sweet caramel aftertaste. a nice easy going beer.

Thanks to hopdog. Slightly cloudy, very active, amber with creamy compact tan ehad. Aroma is sweet carmel malts, wheats, and a bit of a sour presence. The aroma gives a sense that it is full. Feel is full and creamy, starchy malts that have a sour flavor. Not a lot of malt diversity but nice sweetness.

12 oz bottle - Pours amber with a fluffy offwhite head that fades to about an eighth of an inch laces well. Aroma is malty, mostly caramel smells very sweet. Flavor is carmel with somewhat of a butterscotch toffee aftertaste. On the palate this is medium bodied and coats the mouth. Quite sweet and creamy. Not a bad brew. Would like to have tried it fresh but glad I got it at a discounted price. A decent brew but nothing outstanding..

Light amber in color with a small white head. Earthy aroma. Bitter and malty flavor.

Bottle: Bright orange with a thin white head, light citrus aroma, starts and ends lightly sweet, not great, but no that bad either.
