Commercial Description:
AutumnFest is Weyerbachers own unique twist on the German Oktoberfest style. Copper-amber in color, AutumnFest is made with Vienna and Munich malts for that authentic, Bavarian easy drinking taste. Each sip imparts a wonderful roastiness of malt on the tongue followed by a smooth, consistent finish. Wonderfully balanced with a clean, velvety, slightly fruity taste, AutumnFest is the perfect beer for the Fall- a nice transition between the lighter beers of summer and the darker, heavier winter brews. It is a favorite of many Weyerbacher aficionados, who anticipate the end of summer with this wonderful beer. Weyerbacher AutumnFest (ABV 5.4%) is generally available in stores August through December. Pick up a case to celebrate the change of seasons. Prost!

nice amber color, fairly clear.. tan head disperses quickly. Mild malty nose. A little light on the body. Overall just kind of dull.. mild malt flavor, mild hop flavor..

Pours a one-finger light tan head that goes quickly and leaves no lace. Cloudy, amber color. Nose is malty. Light carbonation and light bodied. Starts malty, malty/hoppy finish. Boring for an autumn fest, no strong flavor. 12 oz bottle $1.65 from Vintage Cellar Blacksburg, VA.

hmmm pretty disappointed about yet another autumn beer this year. The flavor just seems to be lacking on all of this years seasonal brews. There are slight flavors and spices of the season, but not enough to really make this beer stand out from the rest. Wouldnt recommend it.

Bottle. Dark brownish red body with big creamy tan head. Roasty with semi-strong alcohol aftertaste. Pretty decent and I normally don’t like Octoberfests.

Clear amber color, with an off-white head. Earthy aroma with a bit of caramel. Pretty sweet taste at first ending on more bitterness. Nice mouthfeel for a pretty well balanced beer, alas way too short: the flavor vanishes in the blink of an eye.

A very good beer. Pours a brownish red with a medium sized tan head. Aroma is earthy and on the sweet side, with a hint of fruitiness. Taste is nutty and woody, giving over to a fruity finish. Maybe it’s just me, but I swear I taste apples in this one. A crisp, refreshing brew.

This would make a great picture. Copper/mahogany body with a solid off white head. Aroma is grass, slight grapefruit and a hint of malt. Slightly nutty up front with a cherry/maple syrup finish. Lingers for quite a while.
