Commercial Description:
AutumnFest is Weyerbachers own unique twist on the German Oktoberfest style. Copper-amber in color, AutumnFest is made with Vienna and Munich malts for that authentic, Bavarian easy drinking taste. Each sip imparts a wonderful roastiness of malt on the tongue followed by a smooth, consistent finish. Wonderfully balanced with a clean, velvety, slightly fruity taste, AutumnFest is the perfect beer for the Fall- a nice transition between the lighter beers of summer and the darker, heavier winter brews. It is a favorite of many Weyerbacher aficionados, who anticipate the end of summer with this wonderful beer. Weyerbacher AutumnFest (ABV 5.4%) is generally available in stores August through December. Pick up a case to celebrate the change of seasons. Prost!

Not impressive at all, poured very loud, sounded very carbonated, almost like opening & pouring a soda, decent off-white head but then quickly dissappeared, color was a dark copper, slight malt aroma, medium-light in body, very light in the mouthfeel, thin & watery, bland flavors, bready & thin aftertaste & finish

Deep red with a small, light tan head, very autumn-inspired. Full, malty aroma; fruity, with cherry and just a slight woodsiness; slight alcohol. Flavor is not quite as nice, but not bad; nondescript fruity sweetness; very light hops in the finish, mostly dominated by the malts. Medium-thick, slightly syrupy. I like it, and I think it fits as summer (hopefully soon) winds down. This will be pleasant-drinking when it cools down into the 40s and 50s on the thermometer.

2004 bottle. Very lovely soft red almost magenta color with plenty off creamy off-white head. Aroma has tons of fruity hops, they are quite aromatic; lots of cherries, strawberries and nectarines. Flavor, though not gaining bitterness from them, is dominated by the hops. There is a nice even caramel malt and just a hint of roast, but it’s a hops show. Almost reminds me of candied apples. A decent brew, definitely strange and not to style, but that’s ok.

Slightly sweet, with a touch of malt aroma. Nice malty body...not too sweet like some others. A very enjoyable Oktoberfest.

[12 oz. bottle] Clear amber color with a thin yet lasting off-white head. Mostly fruit and malt in the aroma. Good balanced taste of hops and malt with a sweet, fruity malt finish. Aftertaste is slightly hoppy and bitter.

This years batch ABV - 6.4%. Sparkling chestnut, tan fizzy head. The aroma has notes of toasted malt, caramel, light cherry, biscuits, pepper, with a slight herbal quality to it. Malty with a good hint of bittering hops and alcohol to round it out. All this comes in nicely blended with some light fruity overtones. Light to medium bodied, fizzy carbonation, malty, fruity, dry finish. Easy drinking and nice for the future autumn months ahead.
