Commercial Description:
AutumnFest is Weyerbachers own unique twist on the German Oktoberfest style. Copper-amber in color, AutumnFest is made with Vienna and Munich malts for that authentic, Bavarian easy drinking taste. Each sip imparts a wonderful roastiness of malt on the tongue followed by a smooth, consistent finish. Wonderfully balanced with a clean, velvety, slightly fruity taste, AutumnFest is the perfect beer for the Fall- a nice transition between the lighter beers of summer and the darker, heavier winter brews. It is a favorite of many Weyerbacher aficionados, who anticipate the end of summer with this wonderful beer. Weyerbacher AutumnFest (ABV 5.4%) is generally available in stores August through December. Pick up a case to celebrate the change of seasons. Prost!

Orange pour with minimal head. Malty and caramel aroma. Smooth flavor but not really notable. Some nut hints.

Bottle, fairly decent beer. cloudy orangish pour with a light head. Aroma is very malty with some notes of caramel and a few wisps of hops. Flavor is fairly smooth without too much complexity it remains a drinkable beer.Malty and a bit nutty in flavor. Not bad, not amazing either.

This beer has a FAINT malt aroma. This is actually one of my least favorite Marzen lagers. The headed faded away fast, and the beer is extremely transparent. I have only had good things to say about Weyerbacher, what the hell happened? Like I said, weak caramel malt aroma. The aroma is too faint to get any other scent. This beer had a better flavor, but it is just very bland. I don’t know if this is a bad bottle, but this beer just doesn’t have much going for it. The beer is carbonated, but not smooth. I am going to say that there are better Marzen lagers out there. This one lacks the malt flavor, and creaminess that I love in a Marzen lager. Overall, I am upset.

12oz bottle from marinos in toledo. hazy orange-brown pour with a medium off-white head. toasted malt aroma. thinnish prickly texture. slightly acidic. caramel malts, brown sugar, nuts in the taste. nothing offensive, but not my favorite weyerbacher by a long shot. K-6.5

The aroma is malty and yeasty with an ESB type of yeast that gives it a nutty and funky twang. There is also a hint of hops. The appearance is amber with a pleasant looking head. The flavor is like the aroma which is actually pretty good. The palate is smooth but a little thin. Overall its decent.

not quite what I am expecting with marzen styles. this particular beer is more fruity than caramel. the aroma and mouthfeel seems a bit off with some inconsistency. hardly any hops though, drink it if you got but dont expect much.

12 oz. bottle. Clear amber color with a thin, off white head. Aroma of sweet malts and cinnamon. Flavor is crisp and clean. Some hints of caramel and grain. Finish is a bit bready. Nothing too special here.
