Doughy, biscuity smell, some spicy noble hops. Crisp noble hop flavor backed by some bready malt. Firm, but not overbearing, bitterness throughout. Nice example of a fest beer. moseslikesbeer (183), conestoga, Pennsylvania, USA

Flavor of a light lager kind of has a metallic after taste that I didn’t care for. ok I guess, to try out. More than likely won’t ever have again. sudline (26), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

Tastes cinnamon, roasted malts, a little hops, and brown sugar. Aftertaste really does it for me, and keeps me wanting to come back to it. There is a nice sweetness to this one. Light to medium bodied, smooth and drinkable. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA

Aroma is a nice balance of light to medium malts, some moderate - mild hops, and some nice fruit esters. It’s appearance is a dark amber, with a nice white head. It’s flavor is full of easy drinking malts, w/ nice roastiness, and some mild hops, very smooth, a nice smooth taste, w/ a nice crisp tartness. Good stuff. jrob21 (1278), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 13, 2008 On draft at the porter bar. Pours a clear brown color. Lots of chewy grain and bread flavors. Some wheat as well. Slightly fruity taste dominated by red fruit like cherry and plum. Easy to drink and pleasant fall flavor. My first fall beer of the season and even though its still about 90 degrees outside, I still enjoyed it. topcup (9), kutztown, Pennsylvania, USA does not count | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 6, 2008 12 oz bottle. Thin in taste, lacking the maltiness of a true Oktoberfest. I’m surprised this is 6% alcohol. I’m a big fan of Weyerbacher but dissapointed with this one. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 4, 2008 Had on tap. Pours a nice brown color with a small head. I picked up a ton of cinamon in the head. This was a very sweet and bready. I liked it and thought it was a very good American style October.
