Commercial Description:
AutumnFest is Weyerbachers own unique twist on the German Oktoberfest style. Copper-amber in color, AutumnFest is made with Vienna and Munich malts for that authentic, Bavarian easy drinking taste. Each sip imparts a wonderful roastiness of malt on the tongue followed by a smooth, consistent finish. Wonderfully balanced with a clean, velvety, slightly fruity taste, AutumnFest is the perfect beer for the Fall- a nice transition between the lighter beers of summer and the darker, heavier winter brews. It is a favorite of many Weyerbacher aficionados, who anticipate the end of summer with this wonderful beer. Weyerbacher AutumnFest (ABV 5.4%) is generally available in stores August through December. Pick up a case to celebrate the change of seasons. Prost!

Bottled. A hazy dark golden (orangey) beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel as well as a light touch of spices and honey. The flavor is sweet with notes of honey, malt, and caramel as well as light notes of bread, leading to a dry ans slightly bitter finish. More complex than your usual Oktoberfest.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of MaltOMeal. Hazy, deep amber golden with an off-white head. Very intense, sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a very, very solid malt, a whiff of flowers and a little caramel. Subdued bitterness but some alcohol is shining through in the finish. 210308

12oz bottle-pours a tan head with copper color. Aroma is slightly sweet caramel malt, medium hops, secondary grass. Taste is light slightly sweet caramel malt, medium hops. Nicely balanced although has a slightly flat hops finish. OK carbonation.

Crystal clear copper hue. Very small fizzy head. Malty aroma with plenty of vanilla and butterscotch and unidentified fruit. Tastes about like it smells. Balanced decently with a nice, light hop presence on the backside. Medium-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, roasted, medium-dry finish. I've had much better beer from Weyerbacher, but then again this isn't really my style of beer. Just a decent brew from a great brewery.

Clear copper with a thin light tan head. Aroma is sugary sweet with some dark roasted graininess. Body is lightly sweet with a musty, lightly sour malty finish. Decent German hop profile. Somewhat thin body goes down smooth.
