Aroma of leaher, sherry, sour cherries, a bit of cardboard, and some nuts as well. Taste of light vanilla, old fruit for sure, cherries, lacto bacteria, with a lengthy sour finish. Certainly seems to have become lambicish, and it wasn’t horrible... Huge thanks to jimmack for sharing this last night, I never thought i’d get to try this! Aroma is welches grape soda (thanks to RLB for that description), fruity esters, soy, oxidation, sour notes, cardboardy and metallic. More metal in the flavor, phenolic, old fruit, sour- acetic and lactic giving a wierd vinegar hint and a harsh astringent metallic finish. THis was a fun beer to share at a tasting.
