Cola pour produces an opaque black body and impressive sand-colored head. Interesting fudgy, nutty aromas mingle with marzipan, banana, dried cranberries, and pine. Sweet/tart flavor gently accented by roasty, smokey, grapeskin, and banana notes; actualy kind of bland and amatuerish. Body is creamy and foamy-feeling, yet far from heavy. The end is flat-flavored with a tart roasty-chalky aftertaste. Okay beer that starts strong but doesn’t follow through.

This beer is very black and it has a hell of alot of head on it. Huge caramel aroma. Has a big caramel malt body to it as well, very thick brew. Most impressive.

Dark toasty chocolate interesting beer. Sweet, easy to drink despite it’s malt flavor...the ease can be attributed to the thinness of this porter. I normally like my beers a little chewier, but the flavor of this great beer made up for it ands down. The alcohol is well balanced within this brew. A tasty one indeed.

I’m not sure why this is listed as an ale...it’s definitely more a porter beer. Sweet aroma of molasses, brown sugar, and coffee. Very roasty taste, with the molasses, chocolate, and a little faint coffee, with a moderately hoppy finish. An excellent Weyerbacher offering!!

A dark brown color. A typical porter aroma, faint chocolate, roasted malts. Kind of thin. Nice but not memorable.

Black, with slowly developing tan head. Rich roasted malt aroma with a coffee, chocolate mix. Light and sweet body. Fairly sweet, with a roasted malt flavor. Much less body than I expected.

22 oz bomber pours black with a tan head. Chocolate stout aromas although not complex, they were strong and enjoyable. Creamy but thin bodied sweet chocolate, molasses, a good amount of roast but overall the flavors were a bit weak. I enjoyed the aroma much more than the flavor.

Black with a small, grayish tan cap. Roasty burnt malt, bittersweet cocoa, molasses, and subtle whole bean coffee. Smooth, medium/full body. Very drinkable.
