| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Dec 25, 2005 This bottled brew poured a large sized head of foamy fine to medium sized mostly lasting dark brown colored bubbles that left behind an excellent sheet lacing. The body contained no visible carbonation, was opaque and black brown in color. Its aroma contained notes of roasted malts dark that malt needed to be stronger as it was pretty weak. Its mouth feel is initially slightly tingly smooth and mild with a mellow aftertaste. Its flavor contained strange mild flavors with dark malts and mild hops. I wished it was better. I had higher expectations from this brew. It also had a slight acidic note that showed up later. Vac (2394), San Diego, California, USA
