Nice, deep medium to dark brown in color, and opaque. Aroma is bubblegum, toasted pecans and chocolate milk. Smooth milk chocolate leads the flavor brigade, along with a little tang - it’s not from alcohol but it leads to a slight astringent, acidic feel. Tantalizing and dancing on the taste buds. Simple and unassumptive. Finish is Tollhouse semi-sweet chocolate morsels. Thanks for sharing the bottle, DavidP.

[bottle - 12 oz] Dark black pour with a very tan and puffy head. Nice aroma of chocolate, malts, roasted notes and coffee. The taste is very well blended and smooth. It’s a mixture of chocolate and coffee with hints of roasted malts and a nice bitter coffee finish. One very fine porter.

First thing I notice about this one is an alcohol aroma that burns a little. Then out comes the roasty coffee and chocolate aroma. Black with some light shining around the edges, not much of a head. Sweet fruity coffee flavor with some chocolate notes. Thin body, sorta watery. Thanks again to DavidP for sharing.

Large brown head of very fine bubbles. Light carbonation. Rich roasted arom with burnt steak, roasted grains, bit of soy sauce and a hint of licorice. Color is pretty much black. Lively in the mouth. Roasty with a hint of tartness. Little bit of fruit, more roasted grains, plenty of malts and a little coffee. Finish is lingering, slightly bitter and tart and leaves a little tingle from the alcohol. A pretty good porter but does not stand out amongst the rest.

Pours to a thick lasting frothy tan head atop a thick dark black body. The aroma is chocolatey, smokey, molasses, fig. The flavor is very roasted, slightly smokey, dark chocolate. The palate is dry and slightly chalky.

Bottle 22oz bomber - Pours black with a 1/4 inch tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate and coffee. Flavor is somewhat sweet. Dark chocolate, molasses, some smoke. On the palate it is not too thick as a good porter should be. Kind of sweet and coats the mouth well.. It finishes slightly dry and bitter. A very nice porter. I enjoyed this one.
