Commercial Description:
Blanche is a thirst quenching beer that combines character and flavor with a moderate alcohol content. Just try a bottle. In the nose you'll notice spiciness from the coriander seeds and dried curacao orange peels added during the boil. In the mouth you'll find a mild and refreshing ale with a hint of dryness from the wheat ingredients. A clean finish follows with just a hint of tart spiciness.

Not one of Weyerbacher’s best. Poured a beautiful hazy white...the way a true wit should look. Aroma of yeast. Taste was dry, crisp and refreshing. Orange, lemon and coriander throughout but no real yeast or spice presence. There was some wheat in there but didn’t come through like it should. Tsk tsk.

12 oz Bottle-poured a hazy yellow color w/a moderate white head. Citrus & spice aroma. Flavor is kind of light & bubblegummy; citrus, spice, banana, kind of grassy. Decent brew w/moderate carbonation. Easy to drink. solid, but not spectacular; could use a little more kick to it. Long dry finish.

12oz brown bottle from Lighthouse in Manchester. Light yellow murky body with a good inch of white head that persists well and leaves a fair bit of lacing. Smells like citrus and allspice. Tastes citrusy, pithy, and spicy, with notes of coriander and nutmeg toward the finish. Lighter bodied. Fairly drinkable. Not the best Wit I’ve had, but definitely a very good one.

Aroma of fruit salad, some spices, and sweetness. Pours somewhat hazy and pale with a small head. Flavor is sweet, with citrus, cloves, and bananas coming through. Would have been nicer on a hot day at the beach.

Bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a medium head. No lacing. Aroma of cloves, wit spices and sweet malts. Slightly sour taste. I’d say that it’s about halfway on the scale of wits that I have tried. (the sourness) Not as spicy as I like it.

Bottle. I’m not sure that the commercial description could be much better. This one pours with almost no color at all and a fluffy head. Nose of corn and spice and flavor is light, crisp, and slightly sweet finishing dry. Nice carbonation of tiny bubbles, which makes for a great palate, although this beer is not full bodied. I like it. It would taste great in the summer!

Fizzy fruit in a bottle. With some maltiness in there as well. Fizzy fruit, fizzy fruit. Yum.
