| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 14, 2006 Pours a light cloudy yellow with a loosely knit white head. Aroma is of corriander and orange. Very nice spice profile if not a bit singular. The body is a bit on the thick side for the style and pretty low in CO2. The flavors are juicy sweet with a light oxidation and completely lacking in any lactic tang. Finish is pretty sweet. I actually really liked this. Far better than many other of Weyerbacher beers. Just not that true to the style. Terminus (1955), Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 6, 2006 Bottle: Hazy golden colore. Poofy white head that settled and stuck. Quiet yeasty aroma. Subdued flavors for the type ... smooth and sweet, but not overly dirty or earthy. This has more emphasis on the fruits ... lemon, melon, bit of grass. Beerdedone (1885), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 5, 2006 Bottle sampled withStegosaurus. Pours hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, yeast, and fruit. Flavor is sweet, yeast , and well not anything near as good as most witbier i have tasted. Phatz (225), Paradise, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 2, 2006 I had this on-tap at the brewery on Saturday but I don’t have enough notes to write a full on-tap review. I am drinking the bottle, I brought home, at the moment. It seems to me that the flavors in the bottle I am drinking are actually bigger than the few notes I took (and my memory) would recall the draft version. Usually I think the beer on-tap is a notch up from the bottle. That may not be the case this time round. Anyway; on with the review of Weyerbacher Blanche bottle:
Appearance: Pours a light yellow laced with white and sits in the glass a very hazy (translucent) pale yellow. Two finger white head and medium lacing.
Smell: Lemon and wheat are dominant in the nose with other spices including a hint of ginger. mmm
Taste: Very crisp smooth and easy. The flavors are wheat and yeast pricking the taste buds first with a zesty lemon spicy hop through the middle and the finish is lip-smackingly yeasty with a nice hop character in the finish.
Mouthfeel: Nice smooth creamy and almost slick. Very nice feel in the mouth.
Drinkability: If you like this style you won’t be disappointed. Weyerbacher nails the style. Not my first choice in personal preference but still remarkably drinkable.
Hope this is helpful.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 24, 2006 Pours a cloudy yeloow color with a medium head. Aroma is yeasty with a hint of citrus. Flavor is very typical of Wotbeir. This brew would have been higher in my opinion because it poured a nice clean yeloow color and then turned cloudy as hell due to the massive amount of yeast settled at the bottom. Less yeast would have surely made the flavor better. ryan (1780), Beltsville, Maryland, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 3, 2006 Light straw body, slight haze with a medium sized white head. The aroma is wheat, corriander light citrus. The flavor is corriander, orange slightly tart. Light body. xproudfoot (729), Paleolithic, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 3, 2006 On tap at Royal. Lemony spritz haygass aroma. cloudy yellow/ quite pale/straw beer with no head. extremely fruity squeezed lemon citrus soda wheatiness. tart/sweet palate a bit much, feels like flavor is too ’added’ rather than natural to the beer. its a decent stand in for better known witbier, not really noticably less than the classic for most people I suppose, but lacks identity, a problem with this category in general.
