Decent two finger white head. Spicey aroma with a weird funky yeast note. Decent flavor with notes of coriander and citrus but again with the funky yeast. Finish is a little watery but this beer is decent enough for what it is. Lively carbonation. GeneralGao (3057), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 28, 2006 12 oz bottle. Unfiltered. Attractive hazy yellow color with a bubbly white head. Big yeasty, bread dough aroma that overpowers the lesser coriander and orange notes. Flavor is similar, again highlighted by bread dough and yeast. The orange and coriander take on a bit more prominence in the flavor. Slightly sweet, spicy finish. ericnixon (719), Northampton, Massachusetts, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 18, 2006 Lightly hazed gold, thin fizzy white head. Spiced nose of corriander, orange zest, hints of lemon, and touches of perfume. Flavor is similar with more citrus zest, spices, soft wheat notes, and very faint hops in the background. Light bodied, medium carbonation, lightly spiced citrus finish. For all the great beers Weyerbacher does, this is one is pretty basic and boring. Still drinkable on a warm sunny day though... | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 13, 2006 Your run of the mill Belgian witbier. It was a nice clear yellow appearance with a disappointingly mild flavor. Still a good summer beer. warrior (213), Mt. Wolf, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 8, 2006 Mild citrus and spice aromas. Beer was a cloudy yellow with a full big white head. Flavor was a mild orange and suttle corriander with some yeast flavors. Body was thin and the finish was more mild than I want in a Belgian Wit. It could use more orange and spicey corriander to bring out more flavor. Bigsilky (322), Charleston, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 8, 2006 2006 botle I think. Pours with a nice tight head that holds together. The color is spot on. Many other examples are to dark, but this is a very classic white, very close to Hoegarden. The spice and citrus zest were very subtle. The malt was very well intergrated with the spice, but for my American palate I would expect a little more presence. This beer is a dead ringer for a Belgian that spent two weeks on the Atlantic and another month or two on a shelf. I think this beer, on tap, in the brewery could be ethereal. It finishes with a wheat-malt dryness and very very underplayed hop. Quite refreshing but maybe not worth the price.
