Poured hazy gold with a minute white head and hefty carbonation bubbles. Aroma was wheat, banana, coriander, pepper. Flavor had a nice spicy kick with some wheat and banana thrown in. I was skeptical looking at the reviews going in, but I actually thought this was a pretty solid brew for the style. Ughsmash (4035), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 15, 2009 Bottled. Poured hazy, milky golden with a fine cap of white head. The aroma picked up toasted bananas and earthy spicage over a pale malty base.. a little essence of orange to it.. I dug it. The flavor had tangy orange zest and spicy wheat over a pale base.. dry earth and white pepper joined on the edges, and the citrus carried through the finish. Grainy on the palate, in a dry, refreshing way.. well-carbonated.. tasty stuff. jeremytoni (1108), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Jul 30, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours cloudy light yellow/straw with a medium-sized white, fluffy head that leaves a good bit of striped lace on the glass. Bubbles stream from the bottom of the glass endlessly. The aroma is very strong with bitter orange and coriander - which is quite pleasant. There are hints of bready sweet wheat malt and lavender, too. The flavor starts with a wonderful sublime malt character that seems rich with unmalted wheat - and lots of coriander. Bitter orange and subtle peach emerge as the beer nears mid-palate, along with some grainy malts and a pleasant bready under-current from the unmalted grains. The finish has a sharp bitter citrus note from the bitter orange peel and a neutral - somewhat spicy - hop bitterness that is surprisingly firm right in the end. It ends dry with a subtle acidity. The mouthfeel is briskly carbonated - providing a subtle slightly acidic zip - and medium in body with a luscious feel. Overall, a very nice witbier. thejon375 (392), Tampa, Florida, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 7, 2009 pours into a plastic motel cup hazy to opaque straw yellow-y brown with a frothy nearly white head. the cap leaves a bunch of drips and spots of lacing on the cup.
there is a bit of a rubber type smell initially followed by dusty wheat, earthy spice (coriander and black pepper), pale grain, white peach and warming savory yeast.
the flavor is quite fruity... orange mixes with coriander, yeast, mineral water, wheat and a very lightly acidic lemon-like finish.
the body is medium. the carbonation is creamy though it has a sharp acidic feel. it lacks the usual richness of the style. 6/4/6/3/14/3.3 ljay6880 (142), , Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jun 21, 2009 12 oz bottle served in a clear pint glass. Pours so hazy that I thought I accidentally poured it into a glass with a little bit of milk in the bottom. Lots of white head with this one too. Nose was rotten vegetables and eggs. Taste was just the same. I actually couldn’t finish this glass of beer, and that was a first for me.
