Many other examples are to dark, but this is a very classic white, very close to Hoegarden. The spice and citrus zest were very subtle. The malt was very well intergrated with the spice, but for my American palate I would expect a little more presence. This beer is a dead ringer for a Belgian that spent two weeks on the Atlantic and another month or two on a shelf. I think this beer, on tap, in the brewery could be ethereal. It finishes with a wheat-malt dryness and very very underplayed hop. Quite refreshing but maybe not worth the price. TomDecapolis (3213), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours a lightly hazy yellow with a very small white bubbly head (went away quickly and really wasn’t even there). Aroma of coriander, lemon, banana and yeast. Flavor of the same with more of the coriandar, light citrus and yeast. Cracked this after getting done mowing the lawn for the 2nd time this season and I have to admit it was refreshing. Just a bit "artificial" as far as this style goes. bigrond (1055), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 9, 2006 a very boring yet non offensive beer. A poor example of a witbier in every aspect but yet dosen’t taste very bad.
I would probably never buy this again Contra (30), USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 5, 2006 I didn’t quite find this beer as watery as other people have described. In fact, my first reaction was on how strong the flavor was, however that was mostly head. Acidic and somewhat sour, but in a good way. It has promise, and I think if they added more of the typical witbier charectoristics, they’d have a winner. As it is, it’s above average, but I wouldn’t want to have it often. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA

Tastes like watered down corriander puree with some wheat sprinkled on top for good measure. hershiser2 (923), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

Aroma of sour banana. Light and lemony in the mouth with little other flavor, except for some minor back-end spices. I brewed 5 gallons of wheat beer in a plastic bucket in my hall closet last year it it tasted very similar to this. I’m disappointed. I don’t even want to finish the rest of this beer because I’ve got so many other good beers to drink. I’m not going to bother describing this. Read the other reviews... I agree with many people that rated this beer in the 2’s.
