Commercial Description:
Blanche is a thirst quenching beer that combines character and flavor with a moderate alcohol content. Just try a bottle. In the nose you'll notice spiciness from the coriander seeds and dried curacao orange peels added during the boil. In the mouth you'll find a mild and refreshing ale with a hint of dryness from the wheat ingredients. A clean finish follows with just a hint of tart spiciness.

This beer was quite terrible. Aroma of beer and spice, too much spice. WAY too acidic: has a real sour bite to it like drinking grapefruit juice. Leaves a terrible taste in your mouth. Poured half the bottle down the drain. I would not recommend this one at all! It is certainly not indicative of the style, which I think should be characterized as soft and rich, not sharp and sour. It could have possibly spoiled, but if so, they’ve done a poor job of tracking dates.

Probably my bigest disappointment from Weyerbacher. This was a very average beer. Just a hint of orange and corriander in the aroma. Slightly more carbonated than other wit beers I’ve tried. Refreshing nonetheless.

A rather pale sickly yellow, with barely a haze, and an anemic white head. Odour is better, with fresh oranges , rose water and coriander. In mouth, way too lemony, with notes of juniper berries, like a gin, and menthol. Very thin, raspy mouthfeel, too dry.

12-oz bottle from firemoose15. Pours hazy yellow with a frothy white medium head and lined lacing. Wheat and banana yeast (sweat) malt (straw) aroma with lemon hops and corriander. Acidic fizzy malt yeast and banana with clove and hop notes. Light and crisp bodied with lively carbonation.

Avery good witbier. Great sweet/fruity aroma and flavor with, in my opinion, a little more than a hint of tart spiciness. It reminds me of Blue Moon (only better). This style is really growing on me.

bottled. quite pale and dishwatery. lemon aroma with a hint of sherbet. from there it’s all downhill - faint tart wheat and a slightly unfermented nagging sweetness

Pale golden in color with a big white head. Nice citrus aroma with a little spice. Flavor has lots of citrus fruit and a strange spice. Little too watery.

Pale yellow, white head. A bit malty and citrusy, but definitely lacking in crispness. Smooth and watery, a bit of a disappointment.
