Nose is of lemon, unmalted wheat, vanilla and mandarin orange. Flavor is well-balanced, but very thin with light clove, orange peel, coriander, funky cilantro (yep, I said it) and lemon pepper? Dunno for sure. Light-bodied and watery with fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. Not at all bad for the style (however, therein lies the problem as wits are not a favorite of mine). Unappreciated by me, but maybe a good try for a wit lover. MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA

Thin white head. Light aroma of banana and coriander. Light lemon. Light yeasty flavor with citrus and spice. This is a beginner’s wit and not too bad. Firemoose15 (541), Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA

Taste reveals light sweetness, light body, oily feel, soft carbonation. Altogether not my favorite but good just the same. Jine (896), Nutley, New Jersey, USA

Let’s hope the taste lives up to what I’ve seen/smelled so far. Hm...not as good on the taste as I’d hoped, maybe its because its so dry? Not even the taste itself? Despite the dryness it does quench thirst somewhat. I could drain a flagon of this....but maybe I won’t. Just doesn’t live up to other Wits hopdog (5609), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

Aromas of spices and light citrus. Tastes of strong lemons and spices. Has a tart and sour finish to it. Dry finish. tedpopp (2), USA does not count | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 10, 2005 I love this beer. Maybe I’m biased because I live right next door in Bethlehem, PA. This is a great Witbier. Good cloudiness and great taste. What else is there in this life. It has a whitish/yellow color when its poured and one thinks will there be taste? I admit its not overly complex as Weyerbacher beers typically are. The brewer is known for heavy ales and this beer hints of a lemon/citrus flavor and aroma. I saw the sediment pour in from the bottom of the bottle. It is not as spicy as other Belgian white beers are but it has a decent blend of malts and spices. I taste a drinkable beer suitable for warm temps and mouths which desire something with taste that is not too overpowering. I did have one complaint-an aftertaste of sour lemon. Aroma has sweet cloves, and old cigarette smokey clothes and/or silage. Light and slightly sour bready flavor with some of that typical clove spicyness along with some dry grass. Its okay, just not my bag.
