Smelly is sickly sweet, with some cream and orange peel. Flavor is similar, with sweet orange and not much else. Pretty weak beer. daknole (3023), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 27, 2008 Bottle from biggcb. Cloudy yellow pour with a nice white head. Aroma is yeasty, spicy, and a tad fruity. Taste is refreshing, yeasty, a bit tart with some flavors of peach, citrus and some apple hints as well. I like this. Underrated. durhambeer (1225), Durham, USA

How could I resist? Here’s the surprise: this is good! Very cloudy light bright gold pour with generous fluffy white head when poured into my magic La Chouffe tulip. Nose offers lemon and orange peel; apple; curacao, clove, coriander and grain. Something in between cardboard and banana. Taste picks up some surprising additional notes, particularly coconut and pineapple. This sucker has pina colada notes to it which are hitting me pretty hard. Well carbonated. I like this and find it quite refreshing. Certainly worth 50 cents! jcwattsrugger (5573), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

Good carbonation. pfs (3), USA does not count | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 15, 2008 Quickly dissipating head, smells of apple with hints of citrus, taste is similar but citrus dominates the apple, smooth, but disappointed. I have no idea where that apple comes from.. I’m assuming the yeast. It’s inappropriate, IMHO. patrick767 (2051), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 14, 2008 bottle - Pours light gold with a touch of haze and a thin, quickly dissipating head. It smells mainly of citrus and wheat. The flavor is sweet and citrusy. There’s just a slight hint of spice in there. It’s light bodied and while it’s not really watery, it does taste kind of bland. Not bad. smjohnst (203), , Pennsylvania, USA
