Commercial Description:
Blanche is a thirst quenching beer that combines character and flavor with a moderate alcohol content. Just try a bottle. In the nose you'll notice spiciness from the coriander seeds and dried curacao orange peels added during the boil. In the mouth you'll find a mild and refreshing ale with a hint of dryness from the wheat ingredients. A clean finish follows with just a hint of tart spiciness.

12oz bottle from secret Santa 2008. Maybe he was mad, as this bottle looked damaged and the cap was rusted. Hazy straw color with a whitish particles. No head. This smells off. It was either infected or simply very strange for the style. A bit of sour fruit and a dull sock like aroma. Maybe some spice. There is only a hint of off flavor in the taste but it is deep down and if not for the aroma I don’t know that you would have noticed it. There is a bit of tangy spice and a touch of Belgian yeast flavor. The whole thing is an odd combo but it is drinkable. Medium body and wet mouth feel. I’ll try this again some day and see if a fresher sample is different (though I don’t know bout the age of this one).

12 oz. Pale and cloudy straw-colored with a small fleeting head. Aroma of bready yeast and citrus. Flavors of citrus, yeast, wheat, and spicy grass. Lemon ice cream aftertaste.Light body is lightly carbonated and dryish.

NIce hazy yellow pour, with a small diminishing head. Aroma is ALL corriander, and lemon, and a touch of orange. Flavour is front loaded with corriander, and a sweet breadiness. A little wattery, and a slightly sweet finish.

Bottle, given to Ryan by Chris Wilson, head brewer at Weyerbacher! Thanks you guys! Pours an orange-yellow golden with no head. Flavor and aromas of citrus, orange, banana, bubblegum, and a bit of spice. Pretty good, easy drinking wit.

Poured a hazy yellow with light white head. Spicy aroma of orange peel and grassy (as expected for the style). Well carbonated, dry, spicy and tart (slightly ‘puckering’). A good all around wit.

The aroma is malty with lemon, spices, and bananas. The appearance is cloudy yellow with a nice head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall it’s OK.

bottle@ redlight redlight. Strong citrus aromas with hints of bananas and spices, there’s also sign of some funkyness lurking in the background with intrigues me. Pours cloudy yellow with a thin white head that disipates. Spicy corriander upfront, with wheaty citrus flavors with a very slight tartness in the background which i like a lot. Very refreshing although i think it lacks some depth, but still great for the never ending florida summer!
