Poured a hazy yellow with light white head. Spicy aroma of orange peel (as expected for the style). Well carbonated, dry, spicy and tart. A good all around wit.

Nov 14, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a thin chalky straw yellow with larger soda bubbles and a fizzy thin white corse head. Aroma is strong of coriander, some sharp lemon citrus and bitter orange peel, candied wheat, a bit floral/herbal. Flavor is surprisingly fairly good, quite yeasty, meaty yeast, not super sweet, lots of bitter orange peel and lesser coriander, fairly straight forward wheat with a citrus kick. The body is a bit thin with corse abundant carbonation.

Oct 21, 2009 Draft from Village Beer Merchant. Pours a very hazy light straw color. Aroma is dominated by an almost perfumey amount of coriander with touches of alcohol (which is strange since it’s fairly light on the abv) and yeasty wheat. Mouthfeel is lively but you could still taste the cloudiness of the brew. Taste is spicy and citrusy coriander and sweet wheat malt with a light tartness and funk. Little bit of grainy staleness along with moderate coriander (maybe some hop?) bitterness in the aftertaste. Very decent for the style, although it lacks the orange flavor i’m used to being assaulted with in wit beers.

Oct 7, 2009 12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market, Raleigh, NC. Pours a hazy very pale straw yellow color with a large creamy white head. Decent head retention and lacing. Very yeasty, spicy aroma with a bit of citrus. Taste is bread, citrus and light spice. Light bodied.

Sep 18, 2009 Hazy yellow, they got the color right. Some wheat and coriander in the nose. Thin palate and light flavor, with more coriander than wheat or other spices. Very little orange. Fruity and refreshing, if light.

Sep 14, 2009 12oz - Nice looking, strangely glowign yellow liquid with a white head. A oily, coconut flavored whack on the first sip ruined all after that.
