Commercial Description:
Blanche is a thirst quenching beer that combines character and flavor with a moderate alcohol content. Just try a bottle. In the nose you'll notice spiciness from the coriander seeds and dried curacao orange peels added during the boil. In the mouth you'll find a mild and refreshing ale with a hint of dryness from the wheat ingredients. A clean finish follows with just a hint of tart spiciness.

(Bottle) Pours a cloud yellow (like canned pear juice) body with a small white head. Miniscule aroma of light clove, herbal garden, and some orange peel. Flavor of citrus, earthiness, light banana bread, and yeast. Quite a light witbier.

Poured a light to medium golden color with a huge (5 finger) white head. Aromas of spices and light citrus. Tastes of strong lemons and spices. Has a tart and sour finish to it. Dry finish.

12 oz bottle-pours a foamy white head and cloudy straw yellow color. Aroma is clove, herbal, grain, yeast. Taste is prominent clove, some pepper, herbal, grain/wheat, some citrus, yeast. Finish alternates sweet/dry. Good carbonation.

Bottle... Hazy, straw-colored ale with a mid-sized, fizzy, white head. Nose is of lemon, unmalted wheat, vanilla and mandarin orange. Flavor is well-balanced, but very thin with light clove, orange peel, coriander, funky cilantro (yep, I said it) and lemon pepper? Dunno for sure. Light-bodied and watery with fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. Not at all bad for the style (however, therein lies the problem as wits are not a favorite of mine). Unappreciated by me, but maybe a good try for a wit lover.

Pours a lightly cloudy effervescent champagne. Lots of orange spice in the aroma. Body is thin and citrusy sour with little complexity. Pretty smooth, but still an average witbier when compared to its imported counterparts.

Bottle. This is a verly bad witbier, in fact i wouldn’t call it a witbier. Extremely pale yellow, not cloudy at all. There was no flavour aside from lemon, and slight hints of wheat and coriander. No depth of flavour, not such a good effort from these guys.
