Commercial Description:
Blasphemy is our award winning QUAD aged in bourbon barrels. But not overaged, so we've picked up gentle vanilla oaky notes which complement rather than supercede the complex qualities that already make QUAD such an incredible beer.

Bottle: Feel the burn baby. Complex aroma of wood, malts, alcohol followed by woody flavors with a sweet, sugary finish. Quite tasty.

Tasted at Alesmith Barrel Aged Decadence release. Pours with a hazy brown color with a small off-white head. Aroma of oak, wood and dark fruits with touches of vanilla and caramel. Taste is dark fruits with toffee and bourbon. Creamy mouthfeel, light carbonation.

This poured a light brown reddish color with a very small off white head. Aroma was bourbon right in the face and also some dark fruits as well. Flavor was strong bourbon flavors upfront, but just taste, not hotness with notes of the dark fruit and sweet quad flavor. Everything melded together pretty well in this one.

Poured an anmenic light tan. no head. Aroma was enough to get me drunk. This tasted more like liquor than beer. A very tough beer to drink. Made me wince a few times. I’ve been looking for this beer to give it a try, glad I did but I will pass on it the next time.

From a 12oz into a snifter. Pours with medium head. Aroma is sweet with lots of vanilla. Taste mirrors the aroma with caramel, oak and bourbon. Medium carbonation. Mouthfeel is rich and creamy, like drinking a glass of butter (but in a good way)! Very good beer to sip and relax.

Bottle. Thanks to Jabic for the hookup. Deep orange brown color, medium foamy head. Flavor is huge bready malts, vanilla, earthy dry oak, hints of bourbon in the finish. Smooth and creamy on the palate. Mild alcohol notes in the finish. This is definitely a big complex beer. Solid.

Pours a very cloudy hazelnut golden color with white head. Aroma is bourbon and caramel sugar with nutty undertones. Flavor is definitely reminiscent of caramelized sugars and sweetened nuts with vanilla extract. Body is creamy syrup with fair carbonation.

Bottle, sampled at Woodshop Quad. Pours a cloudy brownish-amber with a small off-white head. Rich aroma, of malt, citrus, pine hops, caramel, and sugar. Taste is rich and sweet, similar to the nose. Lingering sweetness. Big and very tasty.
