draft @ drafting room. pours dark ruby with a thin white head. nose of spicy hops, caramel malt, light anise. dark fruit. flavor is decidedly carrot cake (with the cream cheese icing...of course!) light, spicy hops, strong, sweet malts. Nuttiness is prevalent, mostly almond and cashew. Pumpkin-y, too. Aftertaste is tart, spicy, malty. Very intriguing and quite complex. I definitely recommend this.

thanks Dorwart for this! This is very good. Brown color with a mostly white head. Aroma is just like an imitation maple syrup. Flavor is smooth as hell and has good notes of sweet malts, nuts, honey and a honey wheat bread. I really enjoyed this. I wish I had gotten a bigger pour!!

Thanks to ClockworkOrange for sending this one out to me Bottle poured into my Sam Addams glass produced a finer worth of white head that trailed of to a thin lace. the body of the brew was a nice mahogany brown. The aromas were light malts and wheat with a little fruity yeast coming to my attention as well. The flavor was nice and light, some grassiness, sweet malts and a touch of bitter nice and light in the mouth with enough carbonation for my tongue. A good drinking brew very sessionable and could easily be a fine addition to their regular line up.

Draft @ McMenamin’s: Poured a reddish brown with only a slight wisp of head. Slightly spicy clove-like aroma with some hints of orange citrus. Flavor is cloves and toffee malts with just the right amount of hops to cleanse the palate at the end. I think this is the first Weyerbacher beer I’ve actually like and ordered more than one of.

Draft, at Capone’s (Norristown, PA). Poured clear brown/amber, topped with a small ring of white bubbles. Aroma of malt, cereal, wheat, and spice. Wheat, cereal, clove, toffee and banana are predominant flavors, with some mild hops, nuts, and cocoa in the background. Medium bodied. Flavorful and very drinkable.
