Thanks for the bottle, Duane. The body was dark copper colored with a khaki colored head. The aroma was sweet with some clover. There was also ginger and some spices. I think this had a little while to smooth out. The taste was spicy ginger with some cinnamon. There was also sweet honey and some apricots. I enjoyed the taste a lot. The alcohol was large and very apparent, but not too distracting.

Spicy honey aroma. Hazy ruby amber colour. Extremely spicy taste, including cardamom, pine, clove, spruce and juniper.

Pours a slightly hazy deep amber-orange hue. Minimal head formation and that dissapates quickly leaving a few isolated blotches of white foam. Huge boozy, alcoholic nose at first sniff followed by secondary aromas of dark fruit cake, bourbon, brown sugar, dark rum and some restrained spices. The big alcohol presence dominates the beers aromas. Mouthfeel was full and sticky with a bit too much alcohol burn noted on the tongue. Flavors were similar to the aromas; lots of honey/malty/fruity sweetness at first sip followed by a spicy mid-palate (cinammon, allspice, nutmeg comes to mind) with a touch of hoppy bitterness in the finish. Overall a pretty good Strong Ale but the big alcohol presence gives it a bit of an unbalanced harsh character.

Coppery amber. Light tan head. Aroma is very sweet with orange, spicy herbal scotch. Some alcohol. Flavor follows... very herbal notes in there, along with a sweet peaty scotch barrel. Good beer. Glad to have finally tried it. I really like it... it does seem a bit sweet but the dry herbal character thins that out and makes it interesting.

Bottle aged 12 months. Very heavy alcohol presence. Very sweet smell, with slight hoppy smell. Very dark yellow color. Taste is slightly bitter - a sipper. Honey, and spices, with a small cough syrup taste. A decent brew I would only drink after dinner and probably share with a friend.

(22oz bottle) Pours a clear amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma of nutmeg, pumpkin spice, cinnamon, cherry, and ginger. Flavor of cherry cough syrup, honey, and nutmeg.

What are we waiting for?....the aging of the beer...so that is what we did....here is the review of its release, "Like whoah"-sm..rich carmel color...heaVY , creaMY, syurPY....trying to figure out what i’m tasting....cardamom (allspice)....pungent herb....bitter herb...harsh to sip due to the high %%%%...........Now Its after the release of 11 and we try it again:....still the same syurpy texture......Miller detects a pineapple aroma..Funk recognizes it as well along with a maraschino cherry aftertaste......the spices are more apparent than a year ago...but that is all......and that is all...

pours a hazy dark orange with a minimal head and low carbonation. Aroma is pretty out in left field with alot of different spices, pine or spruce needles, alcohol, and perhaps cinnamon and caramel. Taste is big sweet caramel, with notes of spruce or pine, similar to in the aroma, with a piney and lightly bitter finish. this is definitely pretty unique, at least in comparison to what I have consumed so far.
