Tap. Pours a clear amber with a quickly disappating head. Scents of malt and fruit. Quite sweet and big alcohol flavors upon tasting. Slinky, creamy but flavors are flat throughout. Pretty good but definately only sensible to have 1.

Pours a deep cloudy orange. Little head but viscous lace. Nose is clueing in that this is going to be a big beer, big sweet malty nose with some hops in the back and slightly spicy with alcohol as well. Big upfront with a sweetness but there is not much there to balance it exept for a slight alcohol burn. Looking for more in this beer than there is, its all upfront with no mid palate and not much of a finish.

Deep amber color with a creme ring around the glass. Cinnamon, Apple, Fruity aroma. Flavor is a little harsh maybe young. Alcoholic fruit. Sticky and sweet.

Head is mostly diminishing. Body is dark amber. Aroma is moderately malty (cookie, caramel), with notes of coriander and lavender. Flavor is heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium to full body, velvety texture, lively carbonation, moderately alcoholic. Odd spice blend, sweet and hot (but not too much of either). Strange beer that was hard to give a score to.

12 oz bottle Pours a cloudy light brownwith a small off white head.Good lacing considering the size of the head. Aromas of spice with hints of licorice and brown sugar and a strog precense of alcohol. Taste is strong alcohol with an astrigent finish. Full bodied with a sherry flavor. A strong powerful beer with its own attitude. You really must try this one to understand it.

this bottle came by way of richlikebeer and was shared with Duane. Thanks Rich. Not much balance to this beer I thought. Tons of sweet caramel malt aroma and flavor. That was about it though, plenty of spiciness I suppose, and plenty of alcohol coming through too. Nice medium creamy mouthfeel, but too much alcohol was apparent for my taste.

could not quite put my finger on what this was trying to be. had a great caramel aroma but the flavor was too sweet and spicey. heavy thick mouthfeel, but there was almost no carbonation. this may be one that is better fresh or on tap. thanks to richlikebeer for sending me the bottle.

A way underappreciated brewer. Well balanced beer. Nice sweet taste with a hoppy finish. A cloudy, murky amber color.
