Draft - RFD. Black, thin light tan creamy head. Roasted ginger and spicy cinnamon notes ride soft swirls of dry chocolate. Intense chocolate ginger and spice flavors balance well on a soft layer of molasses and caramel. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. I like unique, and this one one certainly is just that. Well done...

A deep dark stout with a thin moka head. Very pleasant aroma of ginger and sweet chocolate. In mouth, crisp dry chocolate with light ginger, a bit of harsh tannins, but overall interesting little number. Rich and intense. On tap at RFD, Jan. 6 2009.

Thanks to hopdog for this beer. It pours a very dark brown with a one fingered tightly bubbled tan head. Nice aroma with the ginger and cinnamon is followed by a light, tingly mouthfeel with soft, spicy flavor.

Poured a dark mahogany, nearly opaque color with a medium sized, tan head taht left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast, ginger, bakers chocolate, and caramel malts. Taste of roast, cinnamon, chocolate, and ginger, with a dry, lightly spicy finish.

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, spices, ginger, and slight caramel. Poured dark brown in color with a medium-sized, dense, brown head that diminished but lasted throughout. Opaque. Sparkling. Good lacing. Flavor is complex, lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of chocolate, roasted malts, coffee, light caramel, spices, ginger, cinnamon, light smoke, wood, and gummy worms. Light to medium body. Thin, oily texture. Soft to average carbonation. Malty, chocolate, woody finish.

Bottle thanks to footbalm. Pours out a black color with a pretty thick light brown head. A very interesting nose, lots of spices, some bananas/cloves, light roasted notes. The taste is like a spiced up stout, very creamy, spicy, some chocolates, caramel, and a strong ginger component. Very nice and interesting. Like a dessert.
