Very nice aroma of hops, and caramel malts at the same time. Flavor isnt quite what the aroma was, but still an above average DIPA. Thanks, Honkey. Dug it. DYCSoccer17 (2192), Davis, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 9, 2009 16 ounce sample on tap at World of Beer in Tampa, FL. Aroma is full of hempy, piney, lightly catty simcoe hoppiness. Slightly sweet. Hazy orange body with a medium off-yellow head and nice lacing. Sticky, sweet, chewy citrus hop flavors to start. Becomes a bit astringent and acidic. Finishes with a little more sweetness and some bitter hop and ethanol kick. This beer doesn’t really seem to come together. Still decent, though. Thick opaque red/tan color from the bottle, with a thick soapy light tan head. Unique bitter citrus aroma, pink grapefruit, tangerine, mandarin, some floral hints. Bubbly character in the nose. Bitter boozy flavor, warm with citrus named above, adding some lemon hints. Bitey foamy palate, with a velvety finish. Great double IPA. aplusbreaks (330), , Colorado, USA

Aromas of citrus, grapefruit, and resin. Flavors are very much the same, hoppy, citrusy goodness. HonkeyBra (1346), Lemont, Illinois, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 3, 2009 Amber pour with a big old sticky white head. Big spicey, fresh, vegetable hop aroma. Flavor is huge on the hops, or hop, i guess. Kind of cool to try Simcoe on display like this, and who knew it was copywritten? Really awesome, tasty IPA. MAP (1089), Lakewood, Ohio, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Dec 31, 2008 Very sweet spicy floral hop aroma. Slight malt sweetness, but mostly a refined hop spice/sweetness. The flavor is warming bitterness, more of a spicy hop than a bitter hop, and it follows with a nice full mouthfeel that lingers on the tongue. Nice to be able to pick up a 4 pack at the local grocery store. joeymacaroni (182), West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA
