The appearance is amber with an average head. The flavor is like the aroma and robustly bitter. The palate is smooth. Overall it’s quite nice. Dedollewaitor (3780), Odense, Denmark

Pours copper with a thin white head. smells on signature simcoe goodness with some nice pine and crisp dry spicy hints. Tastes slightly bitter and a bit on the swet side (in Weyerbacher fashion). With a resiny finish. Decent. Hoptagon (145), Arlington, Virginia, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 14, 2008 12oz. Bottle. Coppery orange and slightly cloudy with a medium lacy white head. Nose is strongly citrus oriented with grapefruit and orange peel. Bitterness is the initial flavor, but is balanced nicely by pine and citrus. Body has a mildly creamy texture and is sticky and resinous on the tongue. Beer ends pretty much where it began, lots of hops and a touch of sweetness. Alcohol remains well hidden throughout. Nice to see a IIPA that showcases a single hop.
