Jul 3, 2008 Pours clear orange with off white head. Strong citrus aromas of grapefruit and orange. Big grapefruity flavor with some malt to back it up. Flavor was a litttle disappointing after smelling the great aromas. Medium body with average carbonation and a sticky mouthfeel. A good DIPA, but not one of my favorites, There is something about the Weyerbacher beers that just doesn’t appeal to me.

Jul 2, 2008 Bottle. Clear copper pour with a cream colored head. Wonderful hop aroma, citrusy and piney like fresh brewed hop coffee. Very dry, very bitter hop flavor is outstanding. Underlying grapefruit taste is nicely matched by some powerful pine. Extraordinary beer.

Jul 1, 2008 Bottle via trade from kmweaver. A fantastic feel to this IIPA. Poured a dark copper color with big head, laced down webs. Aroma of citrus, hops and malts. Taste is thick full body simcoe hops. Nice bitterness, goes down not so smooth. Leaves an aftertaste of strong hops and alcohol. Overall a nice IIPA but not one of my favorite.

Jun 28, 2008 Draught at Oldsmar Tap House. Pours out a dark amber body with a thick, creamy head that has excellent retention. Thick cobweb lacing adorns the glass once the head fades. Great looking beer. Nose is all hops to start, tons of citrus, pine, bitter goodness, with a very slight caramel malt undertone. Flavor profile expands on what the aroma brings, everything is fresh and juicy, damn this is a good beer. Love the amount of hop resin that coats the tongue with each sip. Bitterness wells in the back of the throat but never becomes overpowering. Just a crazy amount of citrus and pine in every aspect of this beer, and I love it. One of my favorite Double IPA’s to date. Awesome.

Jun 26, 2008 Pours a nice copper color with an off white head. Aroma is very citrusy like lots of grapefruits. Flavor is really biting bitterness and citrusy, not not too earthy.

Jun 25, 2008 Copper to amber in color with a thick head of white bubbles. The nose is filled to with grapefruit and some herbal hops along with a touch of balancing caramel. In the mouth it was balanced in the midpalate with some malt which even continues into the finish.

Jun 25, 2008 Bottle. Amber verging on copper body, with a fluffy cream head, leaves some nice lacing on the glass. Huge citrus hop aroma, on top of mango. Tastes of some tropical fruit, citrus hops, your whole mouth becomes enveloped in bitter, some touches of sweet malt, a little ashy at the end. Enjoyable, crushing citrus hops through out!

Jun 25, 2008 A good double IPA! This draft has a creamy head and a sweet citrus aroma. There is a hint of caramel prune and grape in the taste and it finishes with some earthy bitterness.
