Cletus (5002), Connecticut, USA Oct 24, 2009 Copper pour with an off white head. Grassy and earthy with some tea and spicy elements on the finish. Beerman6686 (1266), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 11, 2008 Poured a light brown color with an off white head. Aroma was of plain malts, not too much outstanding here. Flavor was much the same, very bland and a bit watery kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 04/06/2007

clear dark copper, dense beige head, drippy lace, sweet caramel malt aroma with light earthy hops, lots of rich caramel flavor, nice sweetness that eventually dries out and leads to a light bitter finish,

jgb9348 (2492), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA Apr 21, 2007 Clear amber coloured body with a very thin white head. Aroma of cardboard, malt, and grass. Light-bodied; acidic taste of malt, metal, English hops, and limes. Aftertaste shows more acidity, metallic flavors, and little else. Overall, an
alright beer but nothing outstanding. I sampled this 12 oz bottle purchased directly from Weyerbacher Brewery in Easton, PA on 21-April-2007 on the Eastern Shore in VA. boboski (1095), Alabama, USA Mar 28, 2007 Hazy copper body with amber overtones. Sizeable beige head, well retained. Fair lacing. Earthy hops dominate an aroma that also showcases caramel malts, brown sugar, dried flowers and must. Flavor is a touch better, with more malt accentuation and moderate bitterness and low acidity. Toffee and bready malts also noted in the flavor. Finishes medium dry and crisp, mellow. Palate is light bodied and balanced. zach8270 (2051), Henrietta, New York, USA Feb 5, 2007 (bottle - 12 oz) Amber color with a puffy white head. Aroma is bitter with some slight sweetness and caramel notes as well. Flavor begins with some floral hops and a nice bitterness in the middle, with a light touch of caramel and a bitter and clean finish. beerbill (1918), Laurel, New York, USA Sep 16, 2006 12 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy medium amber with a moderate off-white head that lasted through most of the glass. Pleasant caramel aroma with some floral notes as well. Somewhat sweet caramel and malt flavor well balanced against some hops bitterness. Somewhat creamy mouthfeel. Very easy to drink. Drank one today wth a Bubba Burger from the BBQ. Great combo. SpringsLicker (2041), Tennessee, USA Aug 12, 2006 Thanks to Leopold Stoch for this one.
Hazy amber body with a tall, long lasting head of off-white.
Caramel aroma. The flavor starts sweet with some bitterness in the middle and a long caramel finish. Needs some hop dryness to balance out some of this sweetness.
Smooth with plenty of body.
