Commercial Description:
To honor 14 years of making craft beer we decided to brew a wheat wine. This unfiltered brew is made with over 50% wheat to give it a distinctly spicy character. Enjoy it now, or if you have the patience, give it some time in your cellar. When you are ready, expect to find notes of tart wheat and honey with crisp bitterness and carbonation. Recipe by Head Brewer Chris Wilson and Brewer Jeff Musselman.

This beer pours a hazy dark orange-amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of toasted malt, wheat and a touch of spice. Medium, clean body with flavors of malt, wheat, spices and grassy hops. The finish is wheaty with a lingering malt and nut aftertaste. Decent overall.

thin whiskey aroma with strong french cologne scents. palate is thick but not long lasting. Flavor is caustic, alcohol, and a little sour grapes. Not too pleasant, but I wanted to follow it with an eisbock.

Poured with the consistency of apricot nectar. Extreamly thick and syrupy. Almost no head and minimal carbonation. Nice strong and sweet aroma with lots of caramel malts, light roasted grains, sweet tarts and some dark fruit. Color is dark orange. Very sweet and oh so smooth. This goes down incredible easy and you could really get yourself into trouble. Silky smooth and just glides down your throat with minimal effort. Noticable alcohol presence that warms from within. A little bit apricot in the flavor along with some more caramal and candy sugar. Man, I want to sip this brew but I keep finding myself taking big gulps. Finishes warm and velvety smooth. Wow, I am really enjoying this brew. As far as i am concerned this brew is at its peak right now and should not be laid down.

Pours mahogany with very little froth. Smells like a fruitcake to me, wife says apricot cobbler. Full nectar with creamy effers. Sweet and medicinal with shades of baked bread, raisins, dates, plumbs, banana, kiwi. A sense of acid tries to balance but the sweetness overcomes.

Bottle. Slightly hazed copper with a short, slightly off-white, head. Aroma is perfumey and resinous with flowers and citrus peels atop candied fruit, honey, and sweet malt. Taste is very sweet malts, candied fruit, wheat/grains, alcohol, light citrus and melon, and honey. Body is thick, syrupy and sticky with light carbonation. Strong alcohol warmth as well. Not abusively hot, though. Ends with more honey, sweet malts, candied fruit, fermented fruit, and grains. Not too bad but messy in spots.

Bottle. Pours amber orange with an off white head. Fruity sweet aroma, a little boozy. The flavor has some peach like fruity notes and a little bit of spice. Pretty good.

Hazy orange pour with a big off-white head. Aroma is berry, honey, caramel, roasted malt and alcohol. Taste is rich malt sweetness with a hop bite. Thinner body and alcohol is a little boozy.
