12 oz. bottle from Ludlow Wines. Pours a slightly cloudy orange-amber color with a thick off-white head that leaves some lacing behind. Aroma of floral hops, citrus, grass, and earth. The flavor is hoppy, bitter, metallic, with notes of malt and soap. The strange metallic soapiness was offputting to me. Light bodied, bitter, with a lingering bitter aftertaste.

12 oz bottle. Clear amber with a pocked ivory head. Nose is lemon and grass with a hint of toffee. Medium light with a tingle. Taste is lemon peel, peach and piny resin. Soapy finish with grapefruit.

Pours light amber/orange with a nice sized off white head. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruits. Flavor is nice citrusy, metallic earthy hop with a nice malty backbone. Not bad.

Bottle from Ro0ot Cellar. Poured clear copper color with an average white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus hop and small earthy malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable brew that met my expectations.

Bottle: Deep copper pour with good clarity and a wispy off white head. VBey buttery aroma- some sweet crystal malt and vegetal fruitiness- fairly nondescript - mainly diacetyl. Rounded carbonation- a bit slick in texture. Some sweet crystal malt and berryish vegetal fruitiness under lots of diacetyl. Way too much butter. Also has a nondescript soapy bitter finish. What happened here, long primary? Why so much diacetyl?

Surprisingly weak in taste and aroma for a harvest ale. I was looking for a good harvest ale to fill the bill when the Founders harvest ale went out of stock, and was quite disappointed with how this compares to Founders.

Pours a clear copper color with a thin off white head. Aroma is some hops, a little grassy, kind of "green" smelling. Flavor is grassy, citrus, mostly lemon, some malt backbone but a weird metallic flavor. Not enough to be offensive but noticable. Decent fresh hop.

12oz bottle. Pours cloudy copper with a thin off-white head. Sweet malt nose with some soft fruit and citrus hop. Fruity and somewhat soapy flavor at first before a crisp bitter finish.
