Flavor has a nice soft malt characteristic to it, followed by a well balanced blend of hops. Pretty much every hop note that you could imagine is in here somewhere. Fizzy on the palate. Finish is dry and phenolic. Nicely done, I’m surprise this isn’t higher ABV by the way it drinks. kimcgolf (832), Dacula, Georgia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Feb 10, 2009 Poured a reddish orange with thin off-white head that lingered well and left okay lacing. Aroma was citrusy hops, and a touch of malt. Mouthfeel was full, dry and tingly, and the taste picked up the hoppy citrus of the nose. A decent, well rounded finish, primarily dry and bitter from the hops, yet with just a touch of malty sweetness. biggmike (480), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 21, 2009 This beer poured a nice orange/copper color with nice pillowy white head that stays around quite a while. Aroma is clearly dominated by the hops with a bit of biscuit briefly coming through. Flavor is an assault of hops. Not subtle in any way. Mouthfeel is hops oilyness, medium body. Not complex or great, but very drinkable.

Golden orange clear pour with nice big off-white head. Some definite metallic notes starting to overshadow the hops, but they’re there. A bit of resin, but more bitter citrus, floral, and even soapy. Nice floral bitter finish. DragonsHead (137), Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 18, 2009 This beer is decent. This beer has a nice translucent color to it. It also has a nice head sitting on top. This beer is aromatic, but it has that hop smell that I think smells like a mix of hops and soap. I don’t know which specific hop it is, but it is a hop that I don’t like. It is aromatic, which I appreciate, but as I said, there is this one hop I have a hard time liking. This beer is very thin, and I wish it had more of a body to it, but I think this is a noble effort. Nice hop profile. Overall, this beer is on the cusp of being a good beer. For some reason I cannot get into this beer as much as I would like. j12601 (1308), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA

Mini growler from Half-Time. Pours a lightly hazed medium dark amber with a medium sized white head which falls off quickly. Light hop aromas with a bit of malt. Slight sweetness on a medium body with fine carbonation leading into a big grapefruit finish. While not bad in any sense, I really wish there was a bit more on the nose and that the finish was a little longer lasting, and slower to develop. The beer sort of rushed by it seems.
