Commercial Description:
Hops Infusion exhibits deep malt characteristics- this beer has undeniable character and body. Glowing a deep amber color, Hops Infusion is brewed with seven types of hops. The result is unmistakable-- hop-heavenly flavor with earthy, spicy, sharp citrus notes. Hops Infusion has four times the dry-hopping as our already hoppy IPA.

Poured from a 12oz bottle. pours a hazy copper. malt and hops in the nose. American "C" type of hops - slightly spicy. The taste doesn’t match the smell. more malt in the nose than in the mouthfeel, weird. Very impressed by the smell, but the taste dissappoints.

Bottle. Moderate aromas of roasted and caramel for the malts, heavy resin and orange for the hops, moderate broth for the yeast, with notes of date and corriander. Head is small, fizzy, white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is slightly hazy orange/red/tan. Flavor starts lightly acidic and sweet, then finishes moderately acidic and heavily bitter. Palate is light to medium, oily and has a lively carbonation. It finishes metalic, moderately astringent and is very drying. A great array of distinct aromas and flavors. This is one unique IPA

Draught @ GLB. Lots of hops on this in the nosw and the flavour. Nice piney citrus hopping in a hazy brown pour. Alcohol and bitterness in the finish.

[bottle] Massive hops aroma, mostly pine together with some almost sherry-like caramel and white grape notes. Almost clear dark pinkish brown with a white ring. Hops dominated flavour: salty with tons of pine and almost harsh bitterness. I would have enjoyed this beer more if it had a little more sweetness and body. The bitterness is a bit dry and medicinal. Medium body, moderate carbonation, lots of residual bitterness.

Bottle pours a rich copper/amber color with a foamy tan head. Nice lacing along the glass. Aroma is quite hoppy with notes of citrus and pine. Flavor is mostly hops and citrus with some roasted malts as well. It has a very dry mouthfeel and a nice bitter finish. Overall a nice flavor but a little too dry for my taste to want to rush out and try again.

bottle. Pours a clear light copper color, inch of light tan head bubbles up and sticks around for a good while. Aromas of earthy resin, floral notes, and a hefty amount of sharp bitterness. Flavor is good, but doesn’t live up to the massive amounts of hops suggested in the description. Sticky pine resin and sharp citrus bite make up most of the hop character, with a lot of smooth toasty malt sweetness that balances things relatively well. Palate is a bit on the slick side with some sharpness in the finish. Overall a decent brew, though much more balanced than suggested in the description.
