Commercial Description:
Hops Infusion exhibits deep malt characteristics- this beer has undeniable character and body. Glowing a deep amber color, Hops Infusion is brewed with seven types of hops. The result is unmistakable-- hop-heavenly flavor with earthy, spicy, sharp citrus notes. Hops Infusion has four times the dry-hopping as our already hoppy IPA.

Single bottle from Total Wine in Huntersville, NC. Pours a dark amber color with a nice thin head. Aroma is all hops. Taste is also hoppy with a slight sweetness to it. I was happy with this beer.

12 oz bottle. copper/amber color, with a foamy off white head. Skunky hop aroma, not unpleasant. Very, very pungent and "green" smelling. Very hoppy throughout wit ha touch of carmel and bread. Crisp clean hop finish. NIce aftetaste.

My 9th Rating of the 2nd Belgian Beer Club shindig. Pours copper with a bright white ring. Nose was light and hoppy. Taste is sweet and light without a whole lot of hops for an apparent IPA.

(Bottle from <A HREF=http://www.ratebeer.com/Place/maine/augusta/l target=blank>Lou’s Beverage Barn) Sweet, hoppy, bitter...Pours clear goldish amber with four fingers of pillowy, then rocky, off-white head. Aroma is pine, some vanilla, hints of caramel. Mouthfeel medium-full, fairly smooth. Foamy, patchy lacing. Flavor is medium piney bitterness overlaying some smooth lightly sweet caramel and vanilla maltiness. Finishes with a pretty big hit of the bitter pine. Big hop presence but not harsh or overpowering.

Nice pine citrus aroma to it. The mouth feel is on the thick side but it tingles with the astringent fruits and gets better as it goes down. Not overly bitter like most ’hop-full’ beers are rather sweet. This possibly creates the thick caramelish inmouth palate coating with maltiness to it. Overall highly drinkable but to get best effects let it warm up a touch....I found that out too late.

Slightly hazy, fiery orange-amber color with high carbonation. The moderate, frothy, off-white head leaves delicate sheets of sticky lacing. The aroma is quite malty, showing alot of caramel and nougat. Mild, orangey hops round out the somewhat lackluster scent profile. The first sip shows multiple flaws, including an annoying metallic tinge that cuts through the thick caramel malts like a knife. Moderately astringent citrus and piney hops do their best to add balance, but the metal flavor just interferes with the whole mix. It subsides slightly as the beer warms, but not enough for my liking. The body is fairly thick and syrupy. Its pretty sweet overall, with bitterness showing mostly on the finish and lingering for a while. Decent beer, but a little disappointing.

355 ml. Slight haze on the orange-copper body with a medium and lasting head. Nose is spicy orange honey on dry malted cereal, with a grapefruit on the side. Flavor is spiced honey, orange-grapefruit, molasses. Big malt is checked well with some spicy resinous hops. Pretty even in the finish and aftertaste too, with malty marshmallow bittered by crunchy pine resin. Medium-bodied and mostly smooth; has a tingly, frothy finish. Excellent.
