Aroma is of grapefruit, orange, and hops but not very strong. Strong grapefruit taste at first that finishes with a decent hoppy flavor. Much better then I expected. An ok IPA. bigrond (1055), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA

It was full of hops but -- it just missed the mark. Mads Langtved (2246), Copenhagen K, Denmark

| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Jan 26, 2006 Hops Infusion Ale pours to a slightly hazy, deep amber to burnt orange color with a tall, rocky white head, and a good bit of carbonation. The nose on this beer is wonderful, with very intense aromas of grapefruit, orange peel, and zesty "fresh cut grass" aromas. The palate of this beer is firm, with a nice malty base of pale and caramel malts to stand up to the huge hop character in this beer. This sweet malt base is complemented with real "honeyed" like hop flavors of candied grapefruit, orange, and lemon peel. Hops Infusion ends with more of those candy hop flavors, then ends with a huge blast of mouth puckering zesty/citrus/spicy hop bitterness that zaps the taste buds, and zings on the tongue.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 23, 2006 This beer pours a honey brown color, the essences of this beer is very floural, with tons of hoppy goodness throughout the nostriles, there is also some lemon and grass smells mixed in. As I airate this in the mouth the taste of this beer is typical for an IPA, not bad. The first flavor that comes to mind is honey, then it quickly follows with a blast of grapefruit. All in all a decent brew, recommended.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 14, 2006 Inspite of the strong aroma and nice mix of hops there isn’t anything that stands out. No overpowering citrus flavors. It’s what I call a dependable workhorse IPA. It won’t ever let you down, but it’s not going to awe you with it’s flavor. radagast83 (1315), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 8, 2006 Bottle. Strong citrus and hops flavor, aroma of IPA, and after tasting, tastes like a standard IPA. Not too bad of a beer, nothing really special however.
