Commercial Description:
Hops Infusion exhibits deep malt characteristics- this beer has undeniable character and body. Glowing a deep amber color, Hops Infusion is brewed with seven types of hops. The result is unmistakable-- hop-heavenly flavor with earthy, spicy, sharp citrus notes. Hops Infusion has four times the dry-hopping as our already hoppy IPA.

Served on draft at Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA after closing. Thanks Marc! Pours a hazy brone color with a medium head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma is toffee and citrus hop notes. Taste is bitter leafy hops with light citrus and toffee. Medium bodied.

12 OZ bottle served in a clear pint glass. Poured a golden color with about an inch of white lacey head. Smell is hops and light floral. Taste is a slightly mild IPA. I enjoyed this IPA more then most.

Pours darker golden amber with about half an inch of head. Head retention is okay so far. Nice carbonation. I can tell this is more of an east coast ipa as I am getting a nice front forward hop bite on the palate, that with this one seems to be rather even the whole way through. Kind of leaves the scene but reminds you that you drank it. On the nose I get Hops with that floral aroma coming through there, some slight slight citrus and a bit of malt that I can detect in there as well. I like this one, not great but a nice little IPA from my side of the country.

Bottle - Pours nice reddish amber, low white head with hardly any waiting for head to dissipate. Very smooth IPA, hops not too bitter. Nice Citrus taste, aftertaste lingers for a little while, but is somewhat subtle for an IPA. Very little lacing. Overall a nice IPA, I would buy this again.

Bottle tasted at fordest house on a surprise visit he opened this up. Decent IPA. Lots of Malt, some hops. This was unbalanced and maybe a bit old. Hops seemed to have faded. Still pretty good.

Enjoyed via small pilsner glass from a 12 oz bottle. First, I must admit that I had a cold when sampling this beer, which undoubtedly affected my sensory abilities. Also, I have a feeling this sample might have been aged a bit, as the hop nose was essentially non-existent. That being said, I found Hops Infusion to be decent but not outstanding. While I got no hop aroma on the nose, I did sense some bitterness, although it tended to be more on the harsh end of the spectrum more so than smooth in the fashion of the best examples of the style. There is a malt backbone in the middle of the palate, which then leads to a hoppy dry finish. I am anticipating trying this again when I am at the top of my powers.
