I was afraid this was gonna be an offensive hop bomb, but it wasn’t too bad. Definite pine hop flavor & pretty one dimensional, but still drinkable. Still not really my thing, only drank it cause it was a bonus beer (Funknmilla?), but it was ok. Long dry hop finish. curly (650), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 8, 2009 [Bottle] Pours reddish-amber with a beige head that leaves good lacing on the glass. Aroma is mainly orange, with some pine notes. The orange is kind of subdued though, not huge and exploding out of the glass. The taste has bitterness, and almost nothing else until the finish. It really is like bitter mineral water until you can finally taste some malt. Not impressive. Pretty good mouthfeel, somewhat smooth and a decent finish. Overall this beer certainly has some good points, but the taste left something to be desired. After letting it warm even more, the malt came out in the taste and improved it. Still not an ideal IPA, but better than it originally was. ben4321 (1041), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 7, 2009 Location: 12 oz bottle from Gilly’s, 4/7/09
Aroma: Fruity nose, citrus fruits, orange, grapefruit, earthy hops
Appearance: Hazy, amber/orange, inch or so of head, some lacing on the glass
Flavor: Nice sweetness from the citrus, with hop backing
Palate: Medium body, some carbonation
Overall Impression:
A nice solid IPA. Strong on the citrus and hops. I’d had this one before, but didn’t remember it well enough to give a good evaluation, glad I tried it again. Barrios (861), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

Taste is caramel with a note of pineapple. Finish is very bitter and dry. yesyouam (602), Fairport, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 5, 2009 Weyerbacher Hops Infusion is a slightly hazy light amber ale with a thin off-white head that exhibits good retention. The aroma is perfumy and floral. It has a dry medium body that’s reasonably smooth. It tastes a little funky. It’s a touch sweet (especially at the finish) and reasonably bitter. There are notes of paper and lemon peel. I’ve had some darn good beers from this brewery, but this one is unexceptional. Actually, I suppose that would make it exceptional, but not in a good way. jeremytoni (1122), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 3, 2009 Bottle as an extra from PilsnerPeter. Thanks! My 233rd IPA rate keeping my atop my perch as the #1 rater of IPA in the State of Washington - hell yeah I feel good about trivial uselessness on the internet - I’m the man! Nice fruity aroma, I got lots of citrus - orange mostly, some tangerine, some earthy notes, and some lightly sweet caramel malt. Pour was hazy golden amber with a thin head and some sticky lace. Initial toasty caramel sweetness, oranges, tangerine, followed by an earthy dry bitterness in the finish that lingers on the palate for a second. A highly drinkable IPA with interesting mix of flavors.
