Cletus (5001), Connecticut, USA Oct 24, 2009 A basic amber ale with some caramel, rosey hints, toasty hints and an earthy finish. Decent for what it is. afireinside96 (807), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 16, 2009 Bottle. Lightly hazed amber pour with a small head. The smell is like a slightly sweet version of an Oktoberfest, dough, caramel, and spiciness form noble hops. Lightly bready flavor, some tea and grass as well. Finishes fairly neutral. It won’t win any awards but I feel like this is a decent, maybe slightly above average, amber ale. Naka (524), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 29, 2008 Pours a dark hazy amber color with a small frothy white head that dissipates pretty rapidly. Malty and carbonic brown sugar raisin aroma. A little grainy caramel as well. The flavor has a slightly roasty character to it. Some fruity caramel notes. Medium body. Very eeh. imadeadguy (378), back in NJ!, New Jersey, USA Oct 21, 2008 12oz.er Pour is deep amber with lacy white head. Aromas of malt!, corn, and old funk. Taste is bland with mostly malt. Not a good beer at all and would never want to drink again. smjohnst (202), , Pennsylvania, USA Sep 3, 2008 A decent beer overall. Smelled and looked like a typical amber with a slightly less pale flavor to it. A good simple beer. kevin62 (267), New Jersey, USA Sep 2, 2008 Samled this a the brewery.Poured an amber colorwith a small white head.In the aroma of the beer there was sweet malt and citrus. The taste was caramel, light malt and mild hops. The beer was ok,a bit thin though. jmm635 (249), Havertown, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 15, 2008 Below average beer. I was expecting so much more. Bottled from a sample case. Amber in color with caramel and toasted malt flavor. Not terrible, but not one I want to drink again. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA May 17, 2008 Bottle sampled. Pours a copper/amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus, and toasted malts. The flavor is Slightly sweet caramel, citrus, toasted malts, very light traces of hops. Thin bodied, i dont blame Weyerbacher, i blame the style.
