Tap at Weyerbacher. Pours out a light amber color with a lot of carbonation. Aroma is of some sweet malts and slight hop bitterness. Taste is a bit watery, some roasted malts, some grain and slight bitter hop finish. Not bad.

Bottle - from sampler pack. Amber color - cloudy - very bubbly. Decent flavor. A bit overcarbonated.

Thin offwhite head of fine and dense bubbles. Zesty citrus aroma with some light malts, sweet tarts and bitterness. Color is a medium orange amber. Light malts and dry toasted grains. Gritty mouthfeel with a decent bitterness. Finishes malty and bitter. A decent brew but not one that I would seek out again.

Clear light amber with a small off-white head. The nose is lightly sweet with caramel and citrus. The flavor is moderately sweet with caramel, cotton candy and light grapefruit. Medium body is slightly thin with moderate carbonation.

Pours a bright amber red clear with large amount of froathy offwhite head. Aroma is sweet but weak - not much to it. Flavor is sweet and nutty, watery and thin. Big let down from a good brewery.

This one delivered under expectations. Granted this full bodied brew a rounded malt taste with slight touches of roast, the after taste and finish was less than pleasant. Enjoyed from a 12 oz. bottle from the brewery, this description comes straight from a perfect bottle of this brew, which was purchased as a part of a mixed 24-pack case according to Pennsylvania state law. Nothing much going on with this and, if my memory serves me correctly, it wasn’t much better on tap at the brewery. If other Weyerbacher offerings are available, enjoy those before this.

Silky ivory-colored head and clear metallic gold body. Aroma is sweet butterscotch, popcorn, and cinnamon toast. Light diacetyl in the flavor with a mild toasty, caramel malt center. Slight nuttiness adds a little depth, but doesn’t take it very far. Seems like a mundane, forgettable bitter to me.

I guess since Weyerbacher does so many interesting and adventurous beers, they had to do a really boring one to balance it out. Not a horrible brew, I just expected more.
