| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 2, 2007 Bottle sampled on 7/2/06: Pours a clear light bronze golden with a nicely-lacing off-white head. Aroma has a dry, toasty grainy presence. Body starts with a touch of strange chemical off-flavor hoppiness and bland, dry caramel malt. Somewhat drinkable brew, but rather dull and slightly off. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 21, 2006 From a twelve-ounce bottle. There’s nothing on the bottle that indicates style, so I drank it blind, basically... and my guess was ’amber ale’. It made me yawn. Some usual maple and molasses flavors from the malt, really like malt extract syrup, and some mild biscuit malt flavors as well. Nose was pretty much the same. Nothing exciting, but at least it was drinkable. Don’t really have much else to say, just that this is a normal, average, ho-hum ’amber ale’. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
