raymow (735), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 16, 2007 Another good beer from Weyerbacher (do they make a bad one?). At 1st, I was going to give this very high marks but then as the bottle progressed, I felt it needed a little sweetness to balance the metallic/hoppy flavor. Great color, not much aroma. Overall, pretty good but could be great with a little hint of sweetness.
jmm635 (44), Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 15, 2008 Below average beer. I was expecting so much more. Bottled from a sample case. Amber in color with caramel and toasted malt flavor. Not terrible, but not one I want to drink again. stegosaurus (1883), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA May 17, 2008 Bottle sampled. Pours a copper/amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus, and toasted malts. The flavor is Slightly sweet caramel, citrus, toasted malts, very light traces of hops. Thin bodied, i dont blame Weyerbacher, i blame the style. pineypower (855), Pine Barrens, New Jersey, USA Mar 29, 2008 Tap at Weyerbacher. Pours out a light amber color with a lot of carbonation. Aroma is of some sweet malts and slight hop bitterness. Taste is a bit watery, some roasted malts, some grain and slight bitter hop finish. Not bad. MattShizzle (349), Bernville, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 22, 2008 Bottle - from sampler pack. Amber color - cloudy - very bubbly. Decent flavor. A bit overcarbonated. Dorwart (1598), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA Mar 10, 2008 Thin offwhite head of fine and dense bubbles. Zesty citrus aroma with some light malts, sweet tarts and bitterness. Color is a medium orange amber. Light malts and dry toasted grains. Gritty mouthfeel with a decent bitterness. Finishes malty and bitter. A decent brew but not one that I would seek out again.
