Commercial Description:
Brewed with Pumpkin and Spices(Cinnamon,Nutmeg,Cardamom,Cloves). This 8.0% ABV pumpkin ale is heartier, spicier, and more caramelly and pumpkiny than its faint brethren! Perfect finisher on a cool autumn night, or match it up with a slice of pumpkin pie and fresh whipped cream. If you don't agree this is the mother of all pumpkin ales, then you just don't like mothers!

Sample courtesy of SuperDave. Spicey pumpkin aroma on the nose. Orange body with off white head. Better blend of pumpkin, spices and bitter than other pumpkin brews Ive had. Thanks Dave.

12 ounce bottle. Very rich pumpkin taste, almost bitter spice notes. A good mixture of alcohol warming and taste as it slides through your mouth. Definite buy again

12 oz bottle into shaker. Hazy copper with a nice light tan head. Nice soft pumpkin on aroma and flavor, moreso in flavor. Some cinnimon and other spice notes that are not overdone as in Punkin. dangerously drinkable. Medium body with tingling carbonation. Overall: good pumpkin, but no pumKing.

Bottled. Dark amber color, small beige head. Christmas spicey aroma (cardamon, clove). Stronger stuff than "a standard" pumpkin ales. Strong flavor of salted licorice, but with quite short flavor. Aftertaste has more Xmasy spices, middle of the pack season ale.
