Oct 16, 2008 Bottle. Pours deep red orange with a beige head. Pumpkin pie aroma, with primarily nutmeg and clove. The flavor is a bit boozy and has a spice profile more along the the lines of cardamom and clove. Nice.

Oct 15, 2008 Draft. Aroma was mainly spiced, with mostly cinnamon and touches of nutmeg. Somewhat caramelized and any pumpkin was masked by the spice. However, the flavor was a really nice sweet and rounded pure pumpkin flavor, spices were restrained. Suddenly I really like a pumpkin beer!

Oct 13, 2008 Great color and pour. Much better pumpkin taste then a lot of the others I have had. It is a mouthful of Holiday flavors. A little stronger then most beers of this style, it really comes across as a smooth taste of spices.

Oct 13, 2008 So many fantastic pumpkin brews out this year, im glad i can finally get Weyerbacher in my area. Pours a bright cloudy orange colour with a large creamy white head. Taste is very pleasent, rich pumpkin flavors. Various spices- cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger. Aroma is pleasent also, nutmeg, graham crackers and pumpkin and maybe some pomegranate? Overall tastey brew.

Oct 12, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours an awesome clear burgundy color with a small tan head. Aroma is cardammon, nutmeg, anise, brown sugar and of course pumpkin also some light alcohol phenols in the nose. Light carbonation but a very full palate. Nutmeg opens up with the clove and cardamom following close behind finish is heavy on brown sugar and cinamon with a lingering pumpkin pie taste. Very faint alcohol but well hidden considering. Very very good pumpkin ale, probably the best I’ve had.

Oct 11, 2008 bottle thanks to daknole. great amber pour with no head just a ring of froth. mixes spices of cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar on the nose. quite smooth on the palate with a huge cinnamon/nutmeg flavor that tastes like thanksgiving.
