aroma is full of nutmeg, pumpkin and cinnamon. similar to a real pumpkin pie in taste, no so much sweet as it is spicy and filled with pumpkin. hides the alcohol very well. smooth and well balanced beer.

12 oz bottle. Pours great hazy, dark amber brown body. Small white lacing. Great aroma - spice some pumpkin. Taste is surprising - but in a good way. Spice and subtle pumpkin flavor - not a hint of alcohol.

Brewed in the USA, Shared with The _Captain and AFI96. Pours a dark amber color with a nice med off white head. The aroma is of pumpkin pie and spices. Taste of caramel, spices, and cinnamon. This is the best pumpkin ale that ive had so far.

12oz bottle shared by BeerGestapo with The_Captain and myself. Amber pour with a generous amount of off-white head. Smell of all-spice and nutmeg. Taste of pumpkin, nutmeg, caramel, all-spice, cinnamon. Certainly isn’t my favorite style but this was damn good.

Bottle from johnykat. Aroma of pumpkin, sweet spice, cinnamon. Pours dark amber color with a thin lasting bubbly head. Flavors of spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, clove), pumpkin pie like notes, and perhaps a dash of hops in the finish. The spice/pie like sweetness lingers and a little warming effect makes its presence known.

Draft @ Rattle & hum. A great aroma, obviously pumpkin. Nice blend with the hops as well. I kind of like Pumpkin ales even though I shouldn’t, but this was a good one.

This beer was really good! I have never smelled a spice/herb/vegetable beer as I have this one. This beer is all about the nutmeg and cinnamon. Very good. I smelled the spice in the aroma, and it was even more pronounced in the taste. The beer had a lovely dark orange/brownish color. Very fall like. The head was decent as well. The beer was very pungent, as I said before pungent with the spices. I was very surprised by the ABV on this beer, couldn’t taste the alcohol. I must say that this beer was different from other pumpkin beers in the sense that they weren’t trying to give you a really sweet flavor with lacking spices. I really enjoyed how they emphasized on the spice in this one. The pumpkin beers I have tried have lacked in this regard. This beer focuses on why you would love a good pumpkin pie, because of the subtle pumpkin flavors with strong spice. Overall, I will definitely be getting this beer again. A little bit pissed that they only offer it in a 4-pack for $9, but it is worth the money. Best pumpkin beer I have tried thus far.

Bottle. Clear dark amber/deep red-orange. Head looks like pie crust. Spicy. Nutmeg, clove, cardamom, cinnamon, then cinnamon sugar. Soft carbonation, nice palate, quaffable, strength not apparent in the least, well done! Finish is sweet but it’s a great rendition of pie flavors including a flaky crust. Suffers from a thin finish but that just makes it more drinkable and beery. Not a novelty pumpkin beer, quite a solid one.
