| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 30, 2008 aroma was pleasent with lots of spices, nutmeg, cloves, stuck out the most. poured a dark orange with a smallish head. flavor was mostly just cloves and spices, a little bit of pumpkin, but not near enough malt flavor for me. body seemed pretty thin and didn’t help the flavor at all. I can’t say that i really cared for this. Dogbrick (2864), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 30, 2008 This beer is a deep orange color with a medium ivory white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Cinnamon, ginger and malt in the nose. Medium-bodied with flavors of sweet spices and malt, plus some pumpkin in the background. The finish is cloves and cinnamon, with a lingering sweet malt aftertaste. Pretty solid all around. GMCC2181 (867), Bear/Elkton, Delaware, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Aug 26, 2008 Bottle. Light amber in color, good head. Aroma of cinnamon and nutmeg. Taste is the same. Pumpkin, nutmeg cinanamon. Texture is light and almost watery. Surprised by the higher alcohol percentage. Smooth and easy to drink. Overall good, but not even close to southern tiers pumpking. unclemattie (2419), Georgia, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Aug 26, 2008 12oz bottle, 4pk. clear dark amber color, with a pie crust colored head. Aroma of pumpkin pie. yum. brown sugar, spices, nutmeg, cinnamon, and clove. The best nose of any pumpkin beer I’ve had. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. Flavor is a full malt character, some molasses or candi sugar. Tastes like pie crust. some of the spice is on the palate. Most of the spice is frome the nose. Definite flavor of squash as well. Liquid pie... Save this for after the T-day dinner! daknole (2960), Plantation, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 25, 2008 bomber..this is now avail in FL in 12 oz bottles...pours a dark brownish color wtih a big bubbled head. Aroma is pumpkin pie and malt. Flavor is spicey and carries the same flavors as the aroma...pumpkin, malt, spices, amd sweetmess. A tad hint of hops would balance this one better. Still pretty good for a pumpkin beer. Oakes (8093), gone rambling, Vietnam
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 25, 2008 Very autumnal with its golden dark amber colour. Warming, delectable aroma with lots of nutmeg, cinnamon, gourd with caramelly, brown sugary malts. Rich palate is boozy, not like overly alcoholic but with the stylish complexity of a fine spirit. Subtle but confident spicing. Lots of pumpkin in the background. It’s 88 F and I’m feeling like trick or treating. Gotta like a beer that evocative. JMFG (1514), Florida, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 23, 2008 Bottle. Pours a deep copper orange color with a sparse off-white head. Moderate aroma of canned pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, and a certain muskiness that reminded me of funky dirty laundry. The taste is decent, with some nutmeg up front and a moderate pumpkin presence. Definitely in the back of the class as pumpkin beers go. SSSteve (2079), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
