Commercial Description:
Brewed with Pumpkin and Spices(Cinnamon,Nutmeg,Cardamom,Cloves). This 8.0% ABV pumpkin ale is heartier, spicier, and more caramelly and pumpkiny than its faint brethren! Perfect finisher on a cool autumn night, or match it up with a slice of pumpkin pie and fresh whipped cream. If you don't agree this is the mother of all pumpkin ales, then you just don't like mothers!

Aroma is delightful mix of everything you could want in a fall baking project. I liked the flavor at first, then loved the spices, then decided that it could have used some more hops and finally decided that the lingering pumpkin taste was a bit much. For sure worth tasting as an adventure in spices. My last couple sips I alternated this beer with Point IPA and that worked really, really well.

Very nice pumpkin. Thick and rich. Spices. but not too sweet and not too much like a vegetable either.

For not being a fan of pumpkin beers normally, I was really suprised about this. The aroma is very frisky and makes one aware of the spices. The taste follows suit with a very bold flavor. I cannot say that I would have another one, but it was worth the attempt.

Great beer that farly exceeded my expectations. Nice aroma of spices and nutmeg and cinnamon, cardamon, cloves, all spice, and PUMPKIN! Great beer that’s sweet but not sugary, spicy but not over done. Very good, and thinly crisp for how viscous these higher abv pumpkin beers are.

Bottle. Very pretty beer. A spicy aroma but muted out of the bottle. Flavor of nutmeg, cinnamon, metal. For some reason this beer seems to skirt my tongue - I struggle to taste it. The aftertaste is more pronounced than the taste for me. Quite bitter. Faint smell of tobacco. I’ve tried this last year and this year and it’s just not for me.

From a bottle poured amber with a good amount of head. Nice spicy flavor and aroma with a quick finish.
