Commercial Description:
Brewed with Pumpkin and Spices(Cinnamon,Nutmeg,Cardamom,Cloves). This 8.0% ABV pumpkin ale is heartier, spicier, and more caramelly and pumpkiny than its faint brethren! Perfect finisher on a cool autumn night, or match it up with a slice of pumpkin pie and fresh whipped cream. If you don't agree this is the mother of all pumpkin ales, then you just don't like mothers!

650ml bottle
Appearance: Copper, reddish hues with tint of pink. White ring , midlle fizz.
Nose : Hint of vanilla , clean straight pumpkin and plenty of variety of spices mixed with cookie dough.
Flavor/Palate : Slightly harsh carbonation. Impression of vanilla and clove on pumpkin mush. Alcohol was well covered. Overall gave me impression of somewhat incoherent formula.

Cinnamon! Lots of spice, pumpkin, and some nutmeg were present throughout this one. Poured almost orange with a light copper head. Alcohol is hidden pretty well also.

Bottle - Copper colour, small eggshell head, slightly hazy body. Dark fruit and spice aroma with a most definite cinnamon & pumpkin flavour with a dash of rum, really delicious. Sugar and spice and all things nice! Thanks to Harry!

Bottle. Orange body, small off white head. Spicy sweet aroma. I can’t tease apart the spices but its pleasant. Very similar flavour, with pleasant spice (cinnamon and nutmeg are noticeable) throughout. Sweet very lightly fruity, pumpkin character. (7+) Smooth slightly fuller than average palate. (3+) Pretty solid.

Over-the-top spices in the nose, loads of cinnamon and nutmeg, really detracting from any other aromas that might be there. Flavor is also super spiced, too heavy on the cinnamon for my tastes, as if cinnamon candies were thrown into the fermenter. As it warms, there is a really authentic pumpkin flavor, along with sweet caramel malt and a vinegar twang. Palate is fine, finishes smoothly. Almost a drain-pour because of the spices, really disappointing.

From a bottle. Caramel, cinnamon and nutmeg in the nose. Taste like the aroma. Spice and som caramel malts. No alcohol to be found. Great pumpkin ale. Favorite one so far, but ST’s Pumking is sittin in my fridge waiting to be drank, so that might change.

650 ml. Orange-copper with a five-finger, lasting head. Nice aroma is a mix of the pumpkin pie spices, sweetish malt, and maybe even some pumpkin. Medium body is fairly smooth, spicy-prickly, and finishes slightly dry with a Belgian yeast-bubblegum aftertaste. Quality spice beer, but a tad overdone on the spices, as are most pumpkin ales.

The color is dark orange/redgolden and the head is huge, nice and creamy. The aroma has notes of cardamom and nutmeg. The flavour is sweetish with notes of nutmeg, cardamom and pumpkin along with other spices. It’s rather light, but very well balanced - and the spices are just right, not too much - nor too little! Thank you Steve/Coldbrewky for this exciting beer!
