| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Oct 26, 2007 pours deep orange. tan head, some lacing. Decent for a pumpkin beer. Alcohol covered well until the finish. Nutmeg, spices, pumpkin on the palate. jmuhops (663), Winchester, Virginia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 25, 2007 Pours clear red with a two-finger off-white head. A lot of cinnamon and nutmeg in the aroma (this is another pumpkin pie beer, it seems). There’s a touch of pumpkin, but it, mixed with the spices (especially the faint cardamom), comes off as merely phenolic. The pumpkin comes through stronger and more clearly in the flavor, but it lasts about as long as a Jack-o’-lantern in Port au Prince. Which I’m assuming doesn’t last long, what with the heat and humidity and all. Hearty mouthfeel, but it doesn’t really do anything for me. tbookman (618), Ephrata, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 25, 2007 Dark amber color - medium offwhite head. Aroma is loaded with pumpkin, also some baking spices, roasted nuts and a hint of pepper. Flavor is pretty bold, very pumpkin-ish, but with a good balance of spice, cinnamon, malt & some caramel. Finish is pleasantly lingering. Well done! Guerde (710), Welcome, Minnesota, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 24, 2007 (bottle, thanks Badgerben) Pours amber with a white head. Strong smell of pumpkin pie, nutmeg, and some cinnamon. Strong taste of spice with the pumpkin being somewhat subdued by the spice. Nice spicy finish, and a thick mouthfeel. This is a well crafted pumpkin beer. nimbleprop (951), SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 24, 2007 Pours a translucent deep orange color, with a tan head that was initially quite foamy and settled to tan whisps. Smells like a starbucks chai with hints of lemon. Doesn’t really smell like beer. Flavor is nutmeg, pumpkin, sugar, cinnamon, but also a bit medicinal. Finish shows the high alcohol with some acidity. Flavor becomes a little monotonous by the end, might be tough to drink a bomber alone. Definitely a novelty. melvin980 (184), Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 24, 2007 The best PUMPKIN beer I’ve had so far. It’s pretty good. Not like pumpkin pie or anything. But solid pumpkin taste and if you have a few you’ll be doing silly things. gotohelunc (476), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Oct 24, 2007 Bomber. Dark copper with a thin fizzy head. Insanely strong aroma...pumpkin-forward with hints of nutmeg and other spices. Nice solid flavor. Good strong pumpkin flavor, understated spice make-up, and a touch of hoppy bitterness. Good pumpkin that I’d never guess by the taste is an 8% ABV beer. A bit of sour aftertaste is the only big knock.
